“What did they teach you that you’ll carry forward?”
Retirement voice gift
A retirement voice gift from the people behind the years.
Give colleagues, friends, and family one thoughtful question about the person retiring. Kinvoria turns up to 20 short voice notes into a private, chaptered gift—without scheduling a call or asking anyone to edit audio.
Recognition in people’s own words
Preserve more than a list of achievements.
A card can hold signatures, but it rarely captures the rhythm of a teammate retelling a first-day story or a friend naming the advice that stayed with them. A short voice note preserves the pauses, laughter, and emphasis that make the memory human.
Because contributors answer asynchronously, former teammates and people in other time zones can take part. One shared prompt gives the final gift a clear theme, while organizer ordering helps the different chapters flow.
“Which ordinary workday became a story you still remember?”
“How did they make the people around them better?”
How to make it
Four steps from shared question to finished keepsake.
- 01
Choose the story you want to collect
Sign in with Google, add the retiree’s name, retirement date, and collection deadline, then choose one prompt broad enough for colleagues, friends, and family.
- 02
Send a private link across the group
Invite up to 20 people through email or the messaging tools your group already uses. Contributors do not need a Kinvoria account or app.
- 03
Collect one focused memory each
Every contributor records or uploads up to 90 seconds, listens back, and submits privately. Remind workplace contributors not to include confidential or unnecessary sensitive information.
- 04
Arrange the voices and finish the gift
Review contributor names, remove a recording if needed, and choose the order. After collection closes, the one-time $9.99 payment unlocks the chaptered radio, private listening page, and downloadable MP3.

Retirement voice gift FAQ
Practical answers for the person organizing it.
Does this work for a remote or international team?
Yes. People use the same private browser link and can respond at different times. Each contributor needs a supported browser, a working microphone or supported audio file, and an internet connection when submitting.
Do contributors need company or Kinvoria accounts?
No app or workplace identity system is required. Contributors open the private invitation and either use optional Google sign-in or continue as a guest. Guest duplicate prevention uses a random browser token rather than employer or hardware identity.
Can I mix colleague and family memories?
Yes. One well-chosen prompt can work across different relationships. The organizer can choose the final contribution order, such as moving from early-career stories to recent colleagues and then family.
Can we play the MP3 at a retirement event?
After the final radio is successfully built, the organizer can download its MP3. Download and test it with the venue’s equipment before the event; Kinvoria does not guarantee emergency or same-minute delivery.
Who is eligible to take part?
People of any age can take part. If someone cannot validly provide authorization themselves, their parent or legal guardian must actively assist and provide the permission required for their contribution and information.
How long does Kinvoria keep the audio?
Raw contributions become due for background deletion 30 days after the final radio is created. The private finished radio remains hosted for 90 days, with reminders to download the MP3 before hosted access ends.
One career. Many people who remember it.
